Meet Nutty — the Botanic PS Mascot!

We just had to have a squirrel as our school mascot; we have so many grey squirrels who love to visit us from the gardens next door. The PTA donated, the children voted, and our squirrel was proudly named Nutty.

Nutty lives in our school foyer, where he welcomes everyone arriving each morning. Sometimes he travels with our teams to cheer them on, and other times he’s there to support a new boy or girl who might be feeling a little shy. He enjoys popping into classrooms to see pupils working hard, and he’s always ready with a cuddle for anyone who needs one.
