Year 2

Welcome to P2 class page! Our new topic this half-term is 'Living Things.'  We'll be learning all about climate change, endangered animals, life cycles, and planting and growing.

Our Maths work will focus on time, 2d shape, counting in 2s, 5s and 10s, addition and subtraction. In Phonics, we will investigate how one sound can be represented in many different ways. We'll also be writing fact files and and keeping sunflower diaries.

Important Class Information

• P.E. takes place on Wednesdays.  Children should wear their trainers or plimsolls to school.
• Wednesday is also our library day.
• Homework is assigned on a Monday and should be returned on a Friday.
• Please hear your son or daughter read daily.
• Book bags and reading books must be brought to school every day. 
• Remember to check your child's book bag throughout the week for notes.
