Welcome to Year 7

P7 is a busy year: full of fun, learning and challenges to help us develop life-long skills and prepare us for secondary school.

Important Class Information:

• Homework (Monday-Thursday) will involve reading, spelling practice, tables practice, and a literacy or numeracy task.
• Pupils should spend 40-60 minutes on homework each evening.
• P7 pupils should read a book that they enjoy and which challenges them for at least 20-30 minutes every day, including our guided reading book, an Accelerated Reader book and any other book for pleasure.
• PE kits should be worn into school on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. Swimming will take place each Tuesday in term 2.
